How to pray efficiently

Hello Lovelies,

Are you praying for the first time?
Are you praying for the first time in a long time?
Have you been struggling lately when it’s time to pray?
Are you always praying the same prayer like the our Father prayer?
Do you start praying but halfway fall asleep or get stuck while praying?
Do you want to pray efficiently but just don’t know how to start?

Did you answer yes to any of this questions? Don’t worry I got you covered.
I went trough it all. I struggled at prayer time.
There were days that i skipped prayer time because I just didn’t know how to pray or what to pray about.
I used to only pray the same prayer (our father) since childhood till in my teen years. It was so frustrating because I knew that, that wasn’t the way to pray.But i didn’t know better.
So for you struggling with praying here are some tips on how to pray efficiently.

I divide my prayer in 5 sections

1. Praise
2. Thankfulness
3. Repentance and forgiveness
4. Family,friends and others
5. Personal needs

Praise:
I always start my prayer praising God.
When I praise God I tell Him how great He is and how important He is for me.

Thankfulness:
After praising I will thank God  for everything he has done for me.
For example for giving me another day,for my blessings,for my husband and for everything that I’m thankful for.

Repentance and forgiveness:
We as sinners need to repent daily.Because we sin daily.Repent of every sin it doesn’t matter how big or small you think your sins are.If you are sincere and truly sorry just repent.When you repent you will need to ask for forgiveness and God will forgive you.

Family,friends and others:
Praying for family,friends and others is a must for me because I’m not going to be selfish and only care about myself.
There are a lot of people out there that needs prayers.People that don’t have a personal relationship with God.So my prayers will stand in the gap that they left open.I ask God to open their eyes, feed the poor,forgive the sinners and open their heart so they can have a personal relationship with Him.These are just some examples, of course I pray for more things for them like health and prayer requests etc.

Personal needs:
Last but not least I will ask for my personal needs.For example spiritual growth.
I also do ask God for material stuff and other heart desires.Things I need but that I can’t get on my own.
And it did happened I got my blessings.You will not receive everything you ask for but you will receive what you really need if you really believe that God will bless you with it.

When I finish with personal needs I will again thank God and Jesus for everything.
